As a solo traveler, I loved the perfect location of this hotel, just 5-10 minutes from the ring. The rooms were clean, big, and had excellent bathrooms. The breakfast had a decent variety and was enjoyable. I also appreciated the option to buy beers and drinks from the fridge in the lobby, especially since the hotel is located some distance away from other restaurants. The host was amazing, and the hotel had a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I also enjoyed the presence of animals outside, including trained dogs that would occasionally perform tricks right outside the window.

Felt totally at home, no reason to complain.

I felt like a VIP with the special shuttle service to the nearest restaurant. Loved the view of the deer corral from my balcony. Explored Daun, Gerolstein, Adenau, Hillesheim, and Cochem in no time. Couldn't go without my daily table tennis match and sauna session. Oh, and the free WiFi! I was devastated that the hotel didn't have a unicorn petting zoo. Such a missed opportunity.

The value for money at Haus Sonneck was excellent, with spacious and clean rooms. The location was just perfect for my visit to the Nürburgring, and the staff treated me wonderfully.

That our room had a low attic roof window, which we accidentally bumped our heads on. Next time I'll request a room on a higher floor.

Scenic views: From our balcony, we were treated to a picturesque sight of the fallow deer corral and the paddock. It was like having our own private wildlife documentary right outside our room.
